First, she listens . . . and then goes right to the heart of it. Megan Holt is a dedicated, independent professional, who is fully engaged, but never detached. When the issue at hand involves an estate, trust, or guardianship matter, Megan brings her depth of experience and fierce advocacy to the courtroom.
Whether you are an executor, trustee, beneficiary, guardian, ward, or family member of the ward, Megan’s experience and tenacity coupled with her willingness and ability to think outside of the box are vital to protecting your interests. But, Megan also appreciates the mental and emotional stress that naturally accompanies the uncertainty and unfamiliarity of dealing with the legal system, which is why she is forthright and transparent, returns phone calls and emails promptly, and keeps you informed of the status of your matter. Megan is guided by the Golden Rule, as well as the law, and expects the same from her team members.
Megan’s Core Values
As a staunch defender of individual civil liberties, Holt is a member of the Kentucky Guardianship Association (KGA) and provides pro bono legal services as an Allied Attorney with Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), an organization that works to protect the rights of people persecuted for their religious beliefs or challenged about their right to freedom of speech and personal autonomy. Holt attends and regularly volunteers at Southland Christian Church in Lexington and has served on the Athletic Committee at Trinity Christian Academy in Lexington. Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, two grown daughters, and many animals on the family’s small farm in Bourbon County, Kentucky.
